Open BOOT File
The BOOT extension and format file is a file used by InstallShield, a program that creates installers for the Windows operating system.
This BOOT file contains the configuration of an installation and is stored in a plain text format.
BOOT files are commonly used with the name setup.boot. They are also usually found with the corresponding setup.exe and setup.ini files.
Open a BOOT file
As it is an auxiliary file, created and edited in plain text, the BOOT file could be opened using any text editor, however, these settings are not recommended to be opened and modified manually.
Therefore, to run the BOOT file, if you have a text editor installed, just right-click on it, and select the text editing software to open the file.
