The BSC extension file is a symbol information file generated by Visual Studio, an SDK developed by Microsoft.

About Visual Studio

It contains script completion tools, Intellisense, compilers, and other features to ease the software development process.

The BSC file contains information about the application symbols, those that were generated through an intermediate file with the SBR extension, from the original source code.

BSC files are used to explore the symbols in the source code.

The BSC format is also used by Visual Studio's IntelliSense code completion feature.

BSC should not be confused with the acronym used to denote a Base Station Controller, used in cellular telephony.
