Open CDA File

Files in the CDA format and extension are used for direct access to a track of an audio CD.

The CDA file plays the referenced track on the CD when it is opened, therefore the CD must be in the CD-ROM drive for the shortcut to work properly, otherwise it will issue an error.

It is important to note that CDA files do not contain actual audio data, meaning songs "ripped" from an audio CD are usually saved as uncompressed AIF or WAV files.
