Open CT File
A CT file extension is a data file created by the Cheat Engine, an open source program used to create 'cheats', or modifications, to Windows-based games.
Cheat Engine is basically a proprietary, free and sourced program that scans and cleanses a computer's memory for the Windows operating system.
The Cheat Engine is mainly used to do cheats in computer games, and is sometimes modified and recompiled to support new games.
The CT file contains game overrides and their addresses within the target program.
CT files allow users to edit game properties such as number of lives, high scores, and health units.
Open a CT file
To open a CT file in Cheat Engine, select File ? Load, choose the CT file and click Open.
You can also click the 'Open Folder' icon on the interface or simply double click the CT file if Cheat Engine is installed on your computer and associated with the CT file.
As a warning, depending on the game developer's security settings, CT files may cause the program to crash, since they are inserted during the game's execution.
