Open DEB File
Standard DEB format and extension files contain two types of bzip or gzip files, the first of which is used for installation control information and the other for obtaining the actual data.
Basically DEB is used for software installation packages and is considered an extension of the Linux operating system, specifically those based on the Debian kernel, for example Ubuntu and all its flavors Kubuntu, Ubuntu, Edubuntu and PCLinuxOS.
DEB format files are binary files that contain two types of records, one of them is in charge of keeping the information controlled in the storage, while the other is in charge of managing all the actual data of the program for that package.
In other words, these Debian DEB packages are compressed files that are commonly used within the Linux system and its different versions where they are mainly used to carry out installations on these operating systems.
