Open DVF File

The DVF format is a type of compressed audio file used by Sony IC digital audio recorders such as the ICD-BP100 and ICD-BP150.

The DVF file is saved in a proprietary audio format that is only recognized by Sony software, simply put, it will not be recognized by third party applications / players.

However, DVF files can be converted to a standard WAV format using Sony's Digital Voice Editor, so that they can be played universally on other players.

On the other hand, the Sony Digital Voice Player software can be used on Microsoft Windows-based platforms to access and view the content stored in these DVF files.

In other words, users of computers running on a Microsoft Windows compatible system can install and use Sony Software Digital Voice Editor to create, open and modify the content stored in these DVF files.
