Open GBC File

The GBC extension file is mainly used as a ROM image of a classic Nintendo Game Boy Color video game, hence the acronym of the extension.

The Nintendo Game Boy is an 8-bit handheld video game console developed and manufactured by Nintendo, and released on the Japanese market in April 1989.

The Game Boy Color was released in 1998 and is backward compatible with the original Game Boy games.

The GBC file can contain up to 32,768 colors, but only 56 can be displayed at a time; can be played on a Mac or PC using a Game Boy emulator.

The GBC file is thus considered as a game file.

Software to open a GBC file
