Open HCR File
HCR files have two different applications, namely:
Half-Fold Card File
In this section, the HCR file is a file created by Broderbund's PrintMaster and American Greetings' Creatacard programs.
Both apps allow users to create custom greeting cards, scrapbook pages, labels, banners, and posters.
The HCR file contains layout and image data for a half-fold card design.
HydroCAD Rainfall Curve Data File
In this use, the HCR file is a data file used by HydroCAD, an interactive atmospheric water modeling program.
HydroCAD is CAD software used for water drainage solutions, and thus the HCR file contains precipitation curve distribution data in ASCII text format.
The HCR file is used as part of an overall HydroCAD drainage project.
HCR files, while not always backward compatible, are always subsequent compatible with HydroCAD.
