Open HMI File
The HMI is an audio file created in the Human Machine Interfaces format, from where the abbreviations HMI come from, which is similar to MIDI in structure and philosophy.
The HMI was used by old video games like Carmageddon, Hover and The Terminator: SkyNET.
Unlike a standard MIDI file, the HMI files in universal use sound, however, these files can store the frequency value of each note, the tempo and the beats of the production.
The HMI format is now an obsolete format, but it can still be played by some MIDI audio players, such as Foobar2000.
Foobar2000 is a free audio player developed mainly for Microsoft Windows, iOS and Android programmed by Peter Paw?owski.
The Foobar2000 is highly configurable and customizable by the user, as it has a modular and flexible design.
