Open MFD File

MFD extension files are used by a music search database called the Yamaha Music Finder Database.

Yamaha's Music Finder is unique in that the Database Records provide an easy way to quickly select the style and tempo, and perhaps a start for songs. However, Yamaha, for its own protection, does not provide the actual name of the song, due to copyright.

MFD files are also used as ABC Monadic Functions Data. ABC was an interactive programming language and environment for personal computing, originally designed as a replacement for BASIC, in principle, its function was to analyze programming tasks.

Lastly, MFD files are also associated with Multiframe Design being Multiframe a structural analysis and design software.
