NEW is a file extension commonly associated with an Ameco Embroidery format.

Ameco Embroidery is a Chinese manufacturing company, whose main business is threads, looms, sewing machines and embroidery machines.

With main products: polyester embroidery thread, rayon embroidery thread, metallic thread, pre-wound bobbin thread, cotton thread, sewing machines, both industrial and home embroidery machines.

The NEW file contains a vectorized graphic that tells the embroidery machine which areas to cover.

Therefore, these NEW files are considered graphics files even though they can only be opened by the program that created them.
