Open NMEA File
The NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) file format stores ASCII text sentences consisting of latitude, longitude, and time values.
The NMEA file is, in principle, a GPS file that contains relative and useful data when processing coordinates.
Many marine type GPS devices use the NMEA format to transmit marine GPS data to computers and other marine equipment.
The data is structured in a sentence mode, with each first word, known as the data type, defining the interpretation of the rest of the sentence.
