Open PEG File

PEG files are saved replays created by Peggle, a 2D peg removal game, developed by PopCap Games.

Due to the name of the application (PEGgle), the acronym for the PEG extension comes from.

Peggle is a series of puzzle video games created and developed in the United States by PopCap Games and currently published by EA games.

Peggle has three sequels that make use of the PEG file, which are:

  1. Peggle Nights
  2. Peggle 2
  3. Peggle Blast

The PEG file stores a video of a previously played game that can be viewed within the Peggle program.

The PEG file can be shared and therefore can be seen by other players.

The Peggle application and thus PEG files are saved by default to the default folder for Windows applications:

Program Files/PopCapGames/Peggle Deluxe/userdata/replays.

In the case of Peggle Nights, replays are saved with a PEGN extension, rather than PEG.
