Open RIS File
RIS files are integrated with RIS (Research Information Systems) and are bibliographic citation files that contain information about citations. RIS files are used mainly in academic and scientific research documents.
Information inside RIS files include title, author, date of publication, publisher, keywords, the number of the issue if applicable, and more.
Most users of the RIS file format integrate the features embedded in these RIS files to populate digital libraries with the content it provides.
RIS files implement the ASCII specification as the default text format.
